Post 8 Tagline

8. Now add a Tag Line to your brand.

Fashion  Dr.
Where Glamorous  People Are Made

This is my Brand, more over a place where people can find their answers and knowing that there are no longer any fashion issues. This is where glamorous people are made. No matter how difficult your problem is and having wanting to know more about the fashion ? This is the right place.  “People are passionate about brands whether they support them or not” (More Than a Name, Davis, 32).

Post 7 Specialty & Five Key Talents

7. Write a paragraph emphasizing your specialty and your five key talents, weaving in your most important values, passions and skills.

At the beginning I didn't want to tell out my brand but kept explaining about fashion show coordinator because I want people to understand their values and what they really do. To people that don't understand or really have any idea what fashion is about they don't know what is a fashion show coordinator. But at the same time, I got my own brand, Show Boss. Because we show people what they want to see. We give them what they ask for. “Brands don’t just arrive out of nowhere. They are the product of a company ‘vision’” (More Than a Name, Davis, 43) Like I mention in the past, we want to give the designers and whoever comes to the fashion show to be surprise and to know that we really work hard to make this who fashion show works and everyone put their efforts in it to present it to everyone. But most of all, we want to help people to understand what we do and knowing what we can help them in the fashion industry.
As Show Boss, we love having fun because like I said, it's like a candy store. You can never get sick trying different kind of candy and every time you get them they are in different package and different shapes, size and colors. Isn't that an amazing thing ?   “This is where branding happens: it is the dialogue that helps create and sustain a relationship between the organization and its audience. And good branding, according to the experts, must engage” (More Than a Name, Davis, 27).

Post 6 Statement of Specialty

6. Weave the items on all your lists into a statement of your specialty. What are you particularly gifted at delivering?

I would say growing up from two different culture background, it makes me knowing and understand people more. And when coming to fashion, it's just I could know so much style from different places around the world. Everyone have that one gifted thing, sometimes it doesn't mean anything to other people but to them it does. “In design terms, simplicity has an elegance that is modern and contemporary. It is also different and so, for now, makes the brand stand out” (More Than a Name, Davis, 132).
And as for me of course, that with the talent I have with fashion, I would love to learn from others and gain much more experience with others and also give them what I know and share with them my knowledge.

Post 5 Top Five Talents

5. From your hopefully long list of talents and qualities, choose the top five, the ones you do best and enjoy doing the most.
From all my list of talents and qualities, my top five would be first, giving the best effort. The reason why I say this is because when people to give their best effort it doesn't take them anywhere. I always try my hardest to understand everything. I constantly think about the things I've learned or read. Especially towards fashion. Second, I can be able to communicate with people easily. I guess it was because my parents where always busy when I was little so I was always taught to be independent and do most things by myself. But this is a good thing. I love to communicate with people. I've learned to socialize with people from different social classes level and I understand them pretty well. The way of me talking to people might be different and some people might not be found of it but I would have to say my culture made me that why and it's a gift. “For many brands today, service is the key differentiator” (More Than a Name, Davis, 138). Third, confident. I have confident no matter where I go. It's not proud but confident and humble. I try to give people good impression and show them that I am able to handle situations and challenges. Fourth, open-mined. I came from a family with two extremely different culture background and I've learned to be open-mined and also I've traveled a lot to different places so I've learned and meet many different people from different countries. It's amazing actually. And with this, I can easily communicate with people. To me, being open-minded is more likely to make people like you. Because you don't really judge anything. You accept, you listen and you just automatically learn from each other. It's not always about being right or wrong or stubborn. And like I said, this is very important to be in the fashion industry. You need to be open minded to put your brand out there. The last, which is my favorite and that is being honest and straight forward. I think this doesn't have to be a critical thing. It's being honest with people and tell them the truth. Which you won't bring no problems and have no problems with anyone. And most of all is that people would trust you and know that you are a reliable person.

Post 4 Talents

4. Identify your talents. What have you always been recognized for (particularly as a kid)? What do you do better than most other people? What skills do people seem to notice in you?
As a kid I was always recognized as a really talented kid with art. I'm not particular genius at it but I was always good with art, music, cooking and making cards stuff like that. I always taught myself I need to be strong no matter how struggle the situation was/is I need to strive my hardest and make it through.
A lot of people recognized me as a open-minded person and out-going person. I enjoy spending time with other people and understand them better. I enjoy talking to people and learn/experience different social class level. “Brands that provide enjoyment will stand out in the future. It is a differentiators and a way to get noticed” (More Than a Name, Davis, 136) After all, although I am a open-minded person but I always remind myself to be aware and alert everything I do. And most important of all, I need to show respect to others. I like how the quote says, brands that provide enjoyment will stand out in the future ! This is like having a open-mind and just enjoy

Post 3 Passions

3. Identify your passions. What things or ideas do you love?

People have different thinking for "passion". Anyone could be passionate about anything in this world. The strongest passion of mine is to treat people kindness. Everyday I see and meet different people from school and out of school. I felt that the reason why treating people with kindness is my passion is because I want to see people happy and have a smile on their face. That's why wherever I go and whoever I meet in my life, I always remind myself to treat them with kindness whither they will treat me and see me the same or not. The most important is to show yourself first and this is like branding. You show your brand to people with kindness. You want people to love you style, designs and so on. I think it's kind of the same. Showing kindness is like having a smooth good meeting with the staffs and crew and then have a great fashion show. “This is where branding happens: it is the dialogue that helps create and sustain a relationship between the organization and its audience. And good branding, according to the experts, must engage” (More Than a Name, Melissa Davis, 27).

My other passion, of course, FASHION. I never thought I would be all into fashion. Growing up I am always that one person in the family who dress different and always wanting to buy new clothes or go to the mall every weekend. It is crazy how I come to a conclusion knowing what my passions are and knowing how they can be related to my major and my career. I love fashion and I really do. Although this field is a very big range and it is all over the globe and most of all, it is competitive, I will survive because THIS IS MY PASSION. I want to know everything about fashion, the latest season, the newest color for this winter and so on.

The fashion world is just like a big huge candy store. You can find different kinds of amazing candies from different countries and try them. The best thing is there are thousands of different colors of them. It's just amazing to be in the world of fashion and really study about it. It's the 21st century, people can't live without fashion ! Fashion is everything. If you really take time and look into it, fashion NEVER falls, it continues to rise. Each day, each second, fashion show stylist, designers and other people in the fashion industry are thinking of the best nest season style that would blow people's mind or a smooth leather bag from the designers.

Post 2 Core Values

2. Identify your core values. What really matters to you?

Fashion shows have core values ? or any values at all ? YES or course. I wouldn't put fashion show as a brand but we must remember while fashion show coordinator presenting a entire fashion show they are working with brands. So meaning, each brand have different values and a coordinator's job is to know these values or else how would you be able to create better fashion shows and work with greater designers ?  “Brand style comes from the core – that is, the values of the brand. Brand values are the belief systems behind the brand. They are usually described as succinct adjectives that are often associated with archetypal characteristics: fun, rebellious, winning or inventive, for example”(More Than a Name, Davis, 82).

Values are important ! It builds a great relationship between people which of course this including you consumers. “Branding is important because of its relationship and impact on the world we live in. Brands affect people’s lives simply because they are part of our daily choices and decisions” (More Than a Name, Davis, 32). A coordinator doesn't have to be 100% agree with different values brand. But it is important for a fashion show coordinator to respect other brands values.

The best thing a fashion show coordinator can do is to fully satisfied the designers taste. It's like you go into a store a buy some clothes, the sales would make sure you have a good service in their store and make sure you come back next time ! “Brands start with a great idea that tells a good story” (More Than a Name, Davis, 78). A fashion show coordinator is the same, we make sure our customers are satisfied but most of all is to gain great experience with those amazing designers.
In the end, core values are important. Each designers or designs has its own taste. Our job is to make sure we handle and create an amazing fashion shows that stunt and would make people unforgettable.

Post 1 Primary "Product"

1. Identify the primary "product" (service, resource, special ability, etc.) you have to offer others.

Wondering that one person who handles the whole entire fashion show ? And make sure the stylist doesn't messed up models clothes ? Reading through all those fashion magazines and wondering how all those amazing and glamorous fashion show all turns out so great and perfect ? I understand it's a whole big team working together but I ask myself all the time "WHO IS THAT PERSON?"  perhaps "THE BOSS" character person ? It's not easy to be THAT ONE PERSON so I did some research before I even started this Major. My research is not just for me but for people whoever that I'll be working with one time. I'll be fully to be able to answer all sorts of questions and handle a entire fashion show. “Brands offer a set of values, a vision and an attitude” (More Than a Name, Davis, 27). And my attitude is to comprehend this area.

You might think, "How can fashion show coordinator be a product?" It's simple ! Fashion = Stylist = Clothes = Designers ! So when you really get to know the area of "DESIGNERS" that's when you really know your actual product but still fashion show coordinator is a product because I need to know how can I put myself out there and perform the best of me to my crew and all the people who attend the fashion show.  “Basically, a product (or service) is the thing that you buy and use. The brand is the promise of something. That something is intangible; it could be a guarantee of quality, a sense of prestige, or of heritage” (More Than a Name, Davis, 12).

I would like to take it further than that, I would explain as a coordinator to this field is not just dealing with their consumer or fans more over that fashion media but EVERYONE that is going to attend the show. You present models with designers clothes on to your audiences but there's always going to be a critical judgment or positive “The relationship between the brand and the consumer is two-way – what the consumer thinks of the brand matters as much as how the brand projects itself to the consumer. This two-way interaction is at the heart of managing the brand perception” (More Than a Name, Davis, 27)

Fashion show coordinator is more than just a coordinator. We understand of how to handle a fashion show and understand how to interact with people in this field, no matter if it's the media, designers, models, stylist, photographer and so on. Every field is extremely different in the fashion industry but at the end everyone comes together and build up one amazing unforgettable fashion shows. Although each brand compete with each other all times but we all enjoy all sorts of designs and fashion shows from different designers. “Brands today represent more than a product, service or brand identity (the name and logo, design and voice of the brand). A brand is synonymous with the business and the style behind the product or service; it encompasses the people working for the company and a philosophy and spirit that sustain it” (More Than a Name, Davis, 27). From time to time people choose and compare but personally to me, it's a way of the fashion industry improves themselves and become better and make greater legend in the fashion world. “Brands also offer a differentiating factor that makes it easier to choose between the many competing product variants” (More Than a Name, Davis, 12).

Week 8 EOC Subliminal Advertising

What is Subliminal Advertising all about ? Subliminal Advertising is a way of communicating with the consumer and the audiences. We see those subliminal advertising everywhere we go, such as the movie theater, the mall, stores and other public places. Although that subliminal advertising is considered illegal because it plays a persona's subconscious. But after all, brand in all types of industry use subliminal advertising all the time.

The phrase subliminal advertising was coined in 1957 by the US market researcher James Vicary, who said he could get moviegoers to “drink Coca-Cola” and “eat popcorn” by flashing those messages onscreen for such a short time that viewers were unaware. Subliminal advertising is actually not such a bad thing, usually those subliminal advertisement are memorable and a lot of time it related to our daily lives.  Researchers found that briefly displaying words and images so quickly that people do not even consciously notice, does nevertheless change their thinking. It seems those subliminal advertising are waste of time but those subliminal advertisement does work for the people who are in the industry. And most important of all, it leaves a trace or a mark in the audiences memory.

There has been much speculation about whether people can process emotional information unconsciously, for example pictures, faces and words,” said Professor Nilli Lavie, who led the research. “We have shown that people can perceive the emotional value of subliminal messages and have demonstrated conclusively that people are much more attuned to negative words. As we can see here, with images people have better memory to remember them and to remember it unconsciously.

Week 7 EOC Retail PEST

Retail PEST - Zara

ZARA started the brand began in 1975. Within a a decade ZARA's approach to fashion became very famous and its magic began to spread to other major cities of Spain and sooner acriss Europe. In 1985, Inditex took hold of group of businesses in which ZARA was also included. The vertical integration system, ZARA's philosophy, which helped it to maintain its fast fashion among the masses was started around 1986-1987. In 1988, ZARA decided that it would spread its magic of fast fashion around the world and it started a store in December 1988 in Oporto, Portugal. The home furnishings market was enhanced by ZARA's entry in to the sector. ZARA opened its stores in India in 2010. It also started online stores in 16 European countries in 2010.In 2011 its online retail spread to united states and Japan.

ZARA has been in the fashion industry for a long time. Personally I think people didn't really know the brand that well because at the time people were only crazy about some brand such as lLouis Vuitton, Dior and other big wellknown brand but consumer and other retailers didn't really notice about this brand but of course with it's growth ZARA has became the largest retailers in the world. From 1975 to 2012, Zara has grown from 1 store in Spain to more than 1540 stores in 73 countries. this shows it acceptability by masses.  These number will for sure continue to grow.

Zara shows its revamped image based on four guiding principles: beauty, clarity, functionality and sustainability. Simplicity is the byword throughout the store as part of Zara's mission to bring customers into direct contact with fashion. ZARA's brand status is stable and continually growing  strong. More and more consumer will like this brand and also I believe ZARA will provide the target audience more amazing designs.

Week 7 BOC Largest Retailers

3 Largest Retailers !

Thousands of retailers are competing with each other everyday. But only three are the largest in the world. The U.S's Wal-Mart Stores, France's Carrefour and the U.K's Tesco are the world's top three piblicly listed retail groups.

The world's largest retail company, Wal-Mart was founded by Sam Walton in 1962. Incorporated on October 31, 1969, Walmart has 8,500 stores in 15 countries.

Carrefour 's headquartered in Levallois-Perret, France opened on January1, 158, in suburban Annecy. The group was build by Marcel Fournier, Denis Defforey and Jacques Defforey. In 1995 it merged with Promodes, known as Continent, one of its major competitors in the French market.

Tesco is a global grocery and general merchandise retailer headquartered in Cheshunt, United Kingdom. It was founded in 191, it has store in 14 countries across Asia, Europe and North America.

While the global ranking of the largest U.S. retail chains remains relatively unchanged from year to year, there was an atypical number of shifts, and dramatic moves both up and down the global retailing ranks on the 2013 largest U.S. retailers list. There are tons of business relationship between companies across the globe. A lot of famous and large company came from America. Slowly these stores starts develop even bigger and more consumer will approach these stores.

Also recently another brand, Zara has also becoming the largest retailers.  The Zara headquarters is a huge airplane-hangar-size open space, with regional sales managers sitting at a line of desks running down the middle, designers on either side of them. The managers field calls from China or Chile to learn what’s selling, then they meet with the designers and decide whether there’s a trend.

Week 6 EOC Rocky Ford - Restoring The Brand ?

Restoring The Brand ?

Rocky Ford Cantaloupes were pulled from store shelves in the summer of 2011 after reports that
people were getting sick. The illness was eventually identified as listeria and traced to Jensen Farms in Holly. At least 30 people died, hundreds got sick. Now, the Colorado Department of Agriculture is the recipient of an Award of Agricultural Marketing Excellence form the North American Agricultural Marketing Officials conference for helping Rocky Ford revitalize.

After trying to restore the brand, Rocky Ford has try their best to show their consumer that their cantaloupes are safe and knowing that people are not going to die from eating cantaloupes again.  "Farmers and ranchers strive to provide safe, nutritional food to their own families and friends as well as the consumer," notes CDA chief John Salazar. "This tragedy could have spelled the end for Rocky Ford cantaloupe

Some farmers who had raised melons for decades decided to stop growing Rocky Fords this year. Only about a third of the land devoted to growing the cantaloupes last year is now growing this year's crop, according to the USDA's Farm Service Agency. "Quite a few people just dropped out," Knapp said. "They had no interest anymore in dealing with the risk."  What the farmers did right was to restore their brand and having people to trust their brand again. But at the same time, there are farmers that are not willing to take the risk anymore. It was said that a lot of farmers that were growing cantaloupes were in the risk of their business and lost many too. At the end, they took responsibility and took time to figure out how and when to restore their brand.

Week 6 BOC Tylenol Scare 1982

Tylenol Scare 1982 !

Tylenol is a well-known American drugs brand. It is use for relieving the symptoms of types of pain or fever. The medical products company owns the brand Tylenol McNeil Consumer Healthcare and it is a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson. In October 1982, this well-known pain killer medicine faced an extremely crisis. Seven people in Chicago were reported dead after taking this medication the extra-strength Tylenol capsules. What happened was it was reported an unknown suspect put 65 milligrams of deadly cyanide into the Tylenol capsules. As soon as the news was out and reported deaths, the public announcements were everywhere warning people about consumption of this product and the medication was removed from the shelves across the country, infected with cyanide and retuned back to the shelves. Johnson & Johnson said

Following one of our guideline dos protecting people first and property. Second, McNeil Consumer Products, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, conducted an immediate product recall from the entire country, which amounted to about 31 million bottles and a loss of more than $100 million dollars. Additionally, they halted all advertisement for the product.

Johnson & Johnson didn’t run away from this issue, they deal with it and fix it. At first they faced with the many situations and coming up with a good solution in order not to destroy their reputation of the company and their brand. Johnson & Johnson came up with the first thing and that is protecting people and second, their property. Johnson and Johnson took the risk of loss of $100 million dollars, they immediately recall from the whole U.S and amounted about 31 million bottles. And of course, they stopped the advertisement temporary.

The company didn’t lose their head out; they took their steps carefully. Once the product was removed from the market, Johnson & Johnson had to come up with a campaign to re-introduce its product and restore confidence back to the consumer. The company took the responsibility for this issue and dealt with it well. Personally opinion, many companies around the globe don’t really care about their brand like Johnson & Johnson does. A lot of time people just throw their brand out there and not trying to protect their own brand.

It illustrates a strength of Johnson & Johnson that is nearly unique, their expertise in medical devices and in pharmaceuticals, and their convergence," said Scott Davison, an analyst with U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffrey. I feel that after this issue Johnson & Johnson had a better knowledge and experience facing harsher issues. Nothing is easy when your brand is well known and you have to take big responsibility at all times.

Week 5 EOC Trend Predicting

Trend Predicting ?

There are varies trend across the world. Trend forecasting resources help to predict trends in the industry they're in. Tend predicting is knowing the behavior, buying habits of the consumer at a particular season or time. It is no longer a question of finding your markets or consumers by age, geography or income, but looking into how and what they buy, based on their culture, mood, beliefs, occasion & geographic locations. People no longer look at the surface things but really get to understand the industry and knowing the future of that industry.

Such as the fashion trends. Fashion trend forecast calculates as season, target, market, consumer, colors, fabrics, silhouette, texture then last usage. Understanding the trends forecast is one of the most arduous and calculative work for all. There are people who are working behind the scenes, day and night to make things appear easy and affordable to us. Question which often comes to our mind is which trend forecast to use and how we can understand it better. Many technological forecasting methods have been reported in various forecast related books & mentioned in literature of many countries, and they have been successfully applied widely.  As trend forecasting results are mainly influenced by the forecasting method used by the end user, it is of utmost importance to determine the method that will be most appropriate to a business model you adopt.

Each season, the design and merchandising departments worldwide are waiting whats in trend for coming seasons. They rely heavily on creating a new line using these valuable data collected by professional agencies. Trend forecasts are based on seasons Spring, Summer, Fall &Winter like we connect certain colors with holiday and seasons, they expect to see earthy tones in fall season, jeweled colors for holidays, the pastels of flowers in early spring, and refreshing white for the summer.  People might see fashion as just clothes, shoes and other things you wear. But think about this, people behind all these fashion shows and fashion magazines. How do people know what their consumer likes and how they make it to their market. Because there are people behind that works hard and understand the trend for each season and try to predict what's going to happen next season.

Week 4 EOC McDonald's Response To Supersize Me

McDonald's  V.S  Supersize Me ?

Super Size ME ! Everyone loves fast food but what do people really think about this movie ? Does it really affect people's mind and prospective towards fast food ? Especially towards with "McDonald's" People who have seen this movie or clip of it knows that fast food does really affect our health. But what does McDonald's response about this ? They had to be astonish to know that there are consumer experiencing themselves by eating their product everyday and film it then publish it to the public.
In response to Morgan Spurlock's controversial documentary "Super Size Me", which depicts McDonald's as a source of poor health and obesity, the fast food giant has released the in-house-produced documentary "Salad Without Dressing Me". This man has done all kinds of research and health check up to know how his body is changing and what sort of heart diseases they could might have. Morgan Spurlock is not playing, he is serious about this research on himself and he wants to tell people that McDonald's IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU. But of course, there are people wouldn't care about his opinion and still continue to eat McDonald's.

"I had to prove a point," wheezed Caputo from his hospital bed in a recorded statement. "If I gave in and ate just one chicken McNugget, I would have corrupted the data and my pancreas might have been in near-working order by the end of the experiment." Doctors compared Caputo's condition to that of someone who had spent a month in a Soviet gulag.
"We are pleased with the results," said Janet Thayer, President of McDonald's Marketing Division. "We have paid Mr. Caputo with a lifetime of free McDonald's certificates for himself and anyone else he chooses to give them to – and I must say, they make great stocking stuffers."

Through this conversation, we can all see that the President of McDonald's Marketing didn't really handle it quite while. Personally, I think that kind of a fraud because McDonald's are telling people that there's nothing wrong with their food but in reality there is. People are having health problem and this is no alright at all. This is not how a business should be handle. When I talk about business, it's not just about McDonald's making money but they need to think about people's health and plus McDonald's is international so people across the globe can say they want to stop having business relationship with them and McDonald's could be in a deep trouble for that. I just think if today, they handle this situation better, people would take it differently.
He hasn't been back inside a McDonald's since the end of his experiment
At the end, I think if you really love fast food, you should know what you are eating and knowing what is in your food. Also what's more important is to workout and stay healthy if not you could become worse than Morgan Spurlock.

Week 3 EOC Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone

Rolling Stone is a popular magazine that published every two weeks. It is focusing on politics and famous or unique culture. Rolling Stone was found in 1967, San Francisco, California. The name of the founder is Jann Wenner who is currently still the chief editor. And for music critic is Ralph J. Gleason. In the 1990s, the magazine changed its format to younger consumer.

Rolling Stone was known for its musical coverage and for political reporting by the enigmatic and controversial gonzo journalist. In the 1990s, the magazine changed its format to appeal to a younger readership interested in youth-oriented television shows, film actors, and popular music. This led to criticism that the magazine was emphasizing style over substance.

In recent years, the magazine has resumed its traditional mix of content, including in-depth political stories. It also has expanded content to include acclaimed coverage of financial and banking issues. As a result, the magazine has seen its circulation increase and its reporters invited as experts to network television programs of note. As we can see people love Rolling stone and people WILL continue to love it and read them.

During the 1980s the magazine began to shift focus towards being a general "entertainment" magazine. Music was still a dominant topic but there was increasing coverage of celebrities in television, films and the pop culture of the day.

The printed format has gone through several changes. The first publications in 1967–72, were folded tabloid newspaper format, no staples with black ink text, and a single color highlight that changed each edition. From 1973 on, editions were done on a four-color press with a different newsprint paper size. In 1979, the bar code appeared. In 1980, it became a gloss paper, large format (10″×12″) magazine. As of October 30, 2008 edition, Rolling Stone is a smaller, standard-format magazine size.
On November 5, 2012, the magazine published its first cover in the Spanish language as recognition to the influence of Latino artists in American culture.

Week 2 EOC, John Varvatos

John Varvatos

John Varvatos is a famous men’s wear designer in the fashion world. He first joined the Polo Ralph Lauren in 1983 then move to CK aka Calvin Klein in 1990. He was then appointed head of menswear design and oversaw the launch of the men’s collection.
In the year 1995, Varvatos returned to the brand he was in, Ralph Lauren and was the head of menswear design for ALL Polo Ralph brands and created the well known, Polo Jeans Company.

After years of working for leading American men's wear designers, John Varvatos launched his own line of men's wear and related lifestyle products in 2000 to positive reviews and quick sales. The Varvatos name was soon associated with quality, elegance, and practical yet interesting men's fashion. Though not as high-end as Helmut Lang or Gucci, as Ginia Bellafante wrote in the New York Times, "The designer's clothes seem intended for the kind of guy who has moved into a salary bracket that no longer confines him to Banana Republic." The success of his men's line led to more products being designed and sold under the Varvatos name, including cologne, skin care, and a line of women's wear. John Varvatos has became famous recently. As you can see in those pictures that's posted. He has a taste of fashion and know exactly what men wants ! Also, the materials he uses for those clothes, it's not just some cheap fabric material it is denim and other extremely good quality materials.
Varvatos took chances with these products, he also became a part-owner of the company that bore his name. In 2005, he signed a new deal with VF Corp. that gave him twenty percent of his company, which saw sales of his collection reaching $50 million by 2005.   From this part, I could see the strength of John Varvatos. He has a very good taste with men although he has being trying to design women's clothing but I still think he is really good with men clothing and also since in 2005 he is starting his own company and so on. He is giving himself a bigger opportunity to make his clothing line unnecessarily famous but well known.
Another thing I know that though John Varvatos tried many things in fashion. We all know fashion is not just about clothing ! It is more than just clothing. It's about style, hair, your nails and even cologne or perfume. Despite the disappointment over his women's line, Varvatos continued to expand his company. In 2004, he launched his first fragrance for men. The cologne was called John Varvatos for Men, and included input in the scent from the designer himself. The following year, he added a line of around 12 skin care products for men, called John Varvatos Skin.
John Varvatos know exactly what he is doing in the fashion industry. He has a strong idea that catches people's eyes and letting people know his brand. And I think as for his brand status, for personal opinion, I know he has a powerful strong brand status. He doesn't try to limit himself just designing clothing but anything else in the fashion industry.
